This app is useless and quite honestly no help. Do not buy it.

This app was a complete and utter waste of money and here is why: 1. Selections are extremely limited. 2. Scanner just does not work (even after upgrades)! 3. You can get the same thing and more for free with myfitpal app. In summary do not download this app even if it is free it is complete rip off. I paid $6.99CAD for this app and I regret it. I was really excite I thought it would offer more than the myfitpal (after reading the profile and seeing all the claims), this app does not offer anything more that you cannot get for free. This company needs to reimburse people who paid for his garbage. Lesson learned I have since gone back to myfitpal and judging by the lack of food in the database I assume many people have done the same.
Not good - At least for Canadian products I dont know about American. Doesnt recognize A LOT of foods by search or barcode. Even when you enter personal foods it changes calorie totals and wont let you save. Set up is good (meal number) but nothing else is. Bad app, MyFitnessPal way better.
this app is VERY user friendly . strongly recommend this app for people who are looking to take their meal plans to the next level . dont know how or where to begin? dont worry because nutritionist app helps you through step by step . also has a wide variety of tips to help you reach your goals.
This app is amazing. It is multi-faceted so dont expect to be an expert right away. Im still learning the nifty things it can do. Get started and use it often. You wont be sorry, best way to set and adjust your nutrition program.
Hard to use, dont recommend
Great app:) Lots of great advice, many foods in data base, if the food isnt there you can add it to your personal list. Personalized advice through KIK Nice graphs to track weight Awesome all together:)
I dont have an iphone... i will promote to all my friends if you could make it ipad friendly! :)
Its would be a great diet/fitness app if all of the components actually worked. 1. I try to scan barcodes for food but the app doesnt recognize any of them. This makes adding foods quite harder. 2. When I try to create new foods (since I cant scan the barcodes) it wont let me add them since they need to be "more calories". Why cant they be the amount of calories they actually are !? Overall this app is completely frustrating and was not worth the money.
This app is giving you $100+ worth of material. If you read everything in the getting started you will know what to eat, when and why for any goal. This is as good as a real dietician but better as you will know why yourself instead of following a plan from someone who understands. The price is nothing compared to this apps worth. They could easily have charged $10+ however they are new and people need to become familiar. Very thorough well done creators!
Ive been an avid user of MyFitnessPal for a long time, but I heard a great review for this app, so I decided to make the switch. I love the tips section. I was especially impressed by how unbiased the supplement reviews were. I also really like that it has the scan barcode feature because Im unfamiliar with a lot of the options that come up when you type in food names. Im enjoying the app so far, but I changed my mind on how many meals I want to have in a day, and I cant figure out how to change that setting. Im hoping that feature becomes a little more accessible.
I just bought this app yesterday and i liked it. Today i was putting in an entry and then it went into processing and got stuck in it. This bug needs to be fixed. Had to delete app
Barcode scanner doesnt work on iphone 5. If it does happen to work it never finds an entry for the product scanned. Database is large but no standardization ie too many entries for any single item
Dont take the time to put in meal plans, they will just erase themselves overnight and cause you to lose any progress made. Complete waste of time and money. Find yourself another nutrition app.
Apple doesnt have the feature that lets developers respond back to unfair reviews like google do so I am doing it here. The two 1 star reviews comes from people who havent taken the time to learn the app which doesnt take long or even email me for questions which I respond to in a timely manner. Both complaints are the same . The app informs the user if the manufacturer under reports its calorie count then gives the option to continue . The users however didnt bother getting past this by pressing "continue" nor did they bother to email me at the very least.
This app really is like a nutritionist in your pocket. After dieting with it for almost a year now it has been my most used app on my phone. Its extremely easy to use and does all the work for you including changing meal plans to adapt to your progress. One thing I really enjoyed was the foo recommendations. At times I don know what to eat or how much, so that app recommends what food to eat and how much of it to eat. Overall a great app and worth the price!
Best app for any body goal and being able to have a healthy flexible diet at the same time. Its more than just a tracker, its a actually nutritionist by constantly keeping up with nutrition based on weight loss progress or gain progress.
App contains many of the foods I eat regularly. If its not there I scan it and add it to my meal plan. Regardless of what it is, I even added a packet of Stevia (zero calorie sweetener).
Ive been using My Fitness Pal for quite some time and decided to look into another app as I didnt feel my macro count was correct on my fitness pal. This is my first week using it and Ive noticed there are distinct changes between this and My Fitness Pal. Many of my girlfriends use My Fitness Pal which I do feel is more user friendly, but I feel Nutritionist is more effective, heres why: 1) Calculations (calorie intake & macros) are much more accurate vs My Fitness Pal. I had to manually calculate caloric intake and macro and then adjust it on my fitness pal. When I cross referenced, nutritionist app was much closer. 2) Nutritionist has lots of helpful information. 3) Theres the option to select if you have an "off day" vs working out light-moderate or heavy which would change your calorie/macro count vs My Fitness Pal. Only drawbacks are that 1) when you change your meal consumption settings because say I decided to work out and had an extra meal afterwards, then everything youve logged in gets erased. 2) The way in which the algorithm was setup for this app doesnt allow for some foods to come up. The search criteria should be broadened. Additionally, My Fitness Pals search results do appear do pop up quicker and are easier on the eyes vs getting over 15 results for "raw baby carrots". Im hoping with this review the fee kinks can be sorted out as Id like to continue using it and spread the word! I will do another review in about 4 weeks.
Love this app because it actually changes its calorie count and macros to keep you on track to reach your goal which no other app does making this app the best fitness and nutrition app out there
